Got a “happy” Idea?

October 22nd, 2009

happyplanet-logoIdea Challenge!
At 1:30pm Paul Parolin of Happy Planet will drop the bomb, the creative challenge bomb that is. They’ve got to get packaging designed to get twin packs of soup on the shelves of Costco by Oct.30. The packaging solution needs to be enviro, the soup has to stand up, and it’s hand applied. Got an idea? Leave a comment below.

One Response to “Got a “happy” Idea?”

  1. Mary says:

Okay, so I’m not an engineer. Bear with me. Is there room for a punched hole at the top of the bag(s)? If so, you could insert a strap of some sort (pick your environmentally friendly option material) secured or anchored by a tag. The tag allows you further branding, discount, information options. The strap would have to move through the holes allowing the bags to stand while on the shelf and move together when you picked up the strap. It could even be hemp or something.

You could also put them both in a larger, clear bag. Or an old-school paper bag (recycled, of course) that says: “Two Soups” and other info in small print. Maybe you could have the paper bags next to the soups and people could choose the two soups that they put in it?! (do you have more than one flavour?).

    Good luck!

    Great Conference.
